Light Up Ahwatukee Holiday Festival
The 28th annual Light Up Ahwatukee’s Holiday Festival is Saturday, November 22 as Desert Foothills Park transforms into a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and festive wonder. The free family-friendly festival is a great way to kick off the holiday season and get into the Christmas spirit. The festival has become a cornerstone for the holiday season in Ahwatukee, inviting guests of all ages to experience live music, highlight local food and businesses, community performances, holiday-themed activities, and of course Santa.

Join us for a fun-filled that shines a spotlight on the literary talent in our own backyard!
This special event brings together a diverse group of local authors - ranging from debut writers to seasoned storytellers - who will share their work, connect with readers, and celebrate the power of storytelling.
Participate in a meet and greet with over 80 local authors across genres including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, memoir, and children's literature with opportunities to purchase signed copies directly from the authors.
Whether you're a passionate reader, an aspiring writer, or simply curious about the literary scene in our community, the Local Author Fair offers something for everyone!
